Manilow (b. 1943) has had two or three facelifts (2003, 2006 and possibly 2009), and lots of Botox. He has had two hip replacement surgeries, the second in late 2009.
I do not believe that he is sick it is just that he is getting up there in age and you have to expect that sometimes. He is opening at the Paris hotel in Las Vegas in March and will be doing about 120 show in 2010 so I would say he is healthy enough to still do shows.
