It is especially for hot spots. Just trim the fur away clean the area and apply 100% aloe vera gel on the area. You can also buy dog shampoo with aloe vera in it. You might try growing your own plant, that way you know it's really pure. Just rub it on the area.

Aloe vera is definitely good for dogs with skin allergies. It helps soothe the skin and make the dog more comfortable. However skin allergies should be discussed with your vet to determine the cause and plan treatment.

Aloe vera is a wonderful natural treatment for skin allergies in dogs. You can also bath them with oatmeal and aloe and add fish oil to their diet.

Aloe vera is wonderful for treating dog skin complaints - however, you should make sure that whatever form of aloe vera you use does not contain chemicals or ingredients in it that are harmful to your dog; many human skin creams will not do him any good, particularly if he ingests them. Remember that 'natural'/'organic' do not mean 'nontoxic'. Research.

Yes its good for treating skin allergies in dogs because it helps the cuts and burns to heal very fast. If parasites are present these diseases must be eradicated by an appropriate veterinary doctor. Aloe vera works at a cellular level.

This is a good first step in treatment, but if it gets worse, you may need more serious medication from the vet.
