Is sensitive skin an issue with a lot of Doberman's?

Yes this is seen in a good number of dobermans particularly the less common colors such as blue or isabella. Dobermans also can have a low thyroid level causing this.

They don't have sensitive skin, but more drier then other breeds of dogs. Try giving it oil pills for dogs. Also watch if they have food allergies.

First I would check everything they eat, where they go, what they sleep on. Something that you are subjecting them too is making they have skin reactions. See you bet if you cannot solve the problem. He will give them a cream.

allgeries are something that can be developed as well as inherited. In the case of your dogs, it may have been developed if both have the same allergy.
