Bundy trumpets are a major trumpet brand that has been around for years. They offer as fair a value for the money as any. I would always look for a deal on a used Bundy with a case. Check that the mouth piece is not stuck, holes in the brass, sticky valves, and general wear and tear before buying.

The Bundy brand in general is a great brand for beginners. They have a wide variety of instruments that have the features required for new learners.

A Bundy trumpet is usually a good student trumpet -- they are typically solid with a warm sound. Keep the valves appropriately oiled, use a little bit of slide grease on the tuning slide, and make sure you have the right size mouth piece. Always brush your teeth before playing.
