First, research the legal definition of "slander" and gather all the evidence that is required to file an action. Make sure the defendant has assets worth pursuing. Such a suit would be filed in civil court.

You can file in Small Claims if you are asking for $2500 or less in damages. You must be able to prove that you suffered real harm due to the slander. If you're asking for more than $2500, file in the municipal court. It is advisable to have a lawyer.

You could file in state court for slander, provided that you are able to provide concrete evidence that the words spoken against you caused real harm that resulted in public humiliation and the loss of income, employment and/or relationships. Slander is not a crime; charges are not filed.

Slander is a civil matter that is filed in civil court. Depending on what is asked in damages, it could be filed in Small Claims. Keep in mind that solid proof of all claimed damages is required in such an action.

You can take the slander charges in to the supreme courts in Arizona. I recommend you see a lawyer first and then you go into the direction they lead you for filing slander charges. It's a great way to address such a case and it's a great way to solidify yourself.

You must be able to prove that you suffered a loss (wages, reputation, opportunity). If you are seeking damages $2500 or less, you can file in Small Claims in your jurisdiction. If you are seeking more, file in the local court. It is best to engage an attorney.

This would be filed in civil court. Be aware that slander is a "spoken" offense, and is extremely difficult to prove in court, you will need to bring extensive evidence and witnesses to prove that another's spoke words have irrevocably damaged you, affected you ability to do business, etc.

You cannot charge someone with slander in the sense of a criminal charge. If you wanted to pursue a civil remedy (damages) you could file a law suit in the Arizona Superior Court that has jurisdiction. You may also want to seek a temporary order of protection in either the City Court or Justice Court.
