I found a little bug that has wings on my dog, what could it be?

Most likely it is a gnat or small mosquito. Gnats and mosquitoes are drawn to dogs, and all other warmblooded creatures, during the summer months. Try applying an insect repellent, preferably one that is waterproof, that is formulated for canines. This should help keep the insects at bay and keep your dog more comfortable.

I don't know. It might be a lady-bug... Anyway, you should do them a favor and remove the bug. (But don't kill it! )

The little bugs what we find on your dog could be a weevil or a biting a bug even that could bed bug also.

They are not fleas, fleas do not have wings just great jumping ability. I suggest bringing your dog to the vet.

You are most likely describing a flea. Fleas fit the description. Check to see if the dog has other's on him. Use Frontline, Advantix immediately and clean your house.
