I forgot the parental control code on my PS2, what should I do?

The parental control on your PS2 can be reset if you leave the system unplugged for approximately 72 hours. If you do not want to wait, you can try the default codes, which are 1111 and 7444.

Press select and then choose delete code then enter 7444, now you should be able to enter a new one.

Press the select button, then the delete code should appear after that shows up type in 7444which is the master password after that you should be able to change you code.

First turn on the playstation with the disc inside. When the code box appears before you, and you can see where you are supposed to enter the digits. Press the select button on the controller. Next, choose delete code and you need to enter 7444, you then should be able to enter a new one.

You can reset settings of your PS2 and create a new code and, according to me, you should note this code in another place in order to remember it.
