First of all, making a major league baseball team is an extreme longshot. However, to improve your chances you must work hard and maintain (and develop) your fitness starting in high school. You certainly want to perform well on your youth baseball team, and you will especially want to work on your raw skills, such as speed and power.

MLB has annual tryout camps, you need to be 16 yrs old. Information on this is on the MLB website under MLB Official Info. Also, you need to get your coach to go to bat for you (sorry, pun intended!)he should know how to get in touch with scouts, etc.

You would have to get noticed at one of your games. My recommendation is to make a video of yourself, and send it to some teams, and hope they watch.

Keep working hard. If you play well enough, the right scouts will come out and find you. The best thing that you can do in High School is to get the attention of some college baseball teams and go from there.
