The file is part of your F-Secure antivirus, the scanner manager. Uninstalling and then reinstalling your antivirus should be the first step. Make sure you have updated the program to the latest version and that you don't have any other antivirus software running on your computer. If the problem persists, contact F-Secure support.

This can sometimes be caused by malware disguising itself as a legitimate program. You can likely check by downloading and running Spybot Search and Destroy. If it is legitimate, it's from F-Secure Anti-Virus, and you can fix it by uninstalling, and reinstalling the program.

Go to START, then RUN, then type MSCONFIG, then STARTUP tab, then search for FSSM32.EXE and disable. Reinstall your antivirus afterwards if problem persists since this is an Antivirus program issue.
