Free information online. You will need to measure your window, width and length. There is piping with eyelets that you can get in the sewing store, this goes on the back of the fabric, you run a roping through the eyelets and this makes the shade go up and down.

The easiest way to make roman blinds is with a sewing machine. Take two pieces of fabric that are the same size and sew the sides together. Sew 2 one inch seams in each side of the fabric and run a ribbon or cord through them to draw them up. Finish up the top and bottom by hand.
