They wore tunics and togas. The female toga is called a stola. It is long enough to touch the ground however, it can have any length of sleeves. Any color is acceptable. A cloak would be worn on top of the tunic. It can be made out of silk if you want your costume to look rich.

The main clothing item was the tunic, made of colorful fabrics, elaborately draped, fastened with belts, pins or brooches. It covered the entire body, including the feet.

Roman women typically wore tunic style clothing. This was generally one piece of fabric, draped across both shoulders and falling to just above the knees. Occasionally it would fall down to the ankle. This was secured around the waist with brightly colored cords. Often flowers in their hair and golden or precious jewelry was worn.

They used to wear tunics called stola and palla made of wool. Dress was long and made of few layers. Imagine to roll up in a sheet with no buttons and belts.
