How soon can you drink alcohol after taking Vicodin?

I want to drink at a party I will be going to, but I recently had to take some Vicodin, will I be okay?

If you took Vicodin you must wait for it to wear off before drinking alcohol. It takes four to six hours for the drug to wear off. Please don't consume alcohol while the medicine is still doing it's job.

it takes 24 hours for Vicodin (and the Tylenol that is in it) to clear out of your system, NOT 6 hrs !! The combination of Vicodin (or more acuurately the acetaminophin i,e. Tylenol) and alcohol can KILL your LIVER and therefore you. Don't be an idiot.

No, you should not mix alcohol and drugs. Wait until the Vicodin is cleared from your system before drinking alcohol.
