You should never drink alcohol while taking any medicine. Even something simple like aspirin. You're basically mixing two drugs and the effects can be dangerous. It can damage your organs or impair your motor skills. Either skip the pill or skip the drink but never ever do both it's not worth it.

I would not recommend drinking alcohol while taking accutane. Research has shown that accutane has not only caused depression in certain people, but it also makes them more sensitive to sunlight. Also, accutant has been known to cause liver damage in some people, not to mention, terrible side effects.

No, you are not supposed to drink alcohol while taking Accutane. I believe it's very dangerous. I'm surprised your doctor didn't tell you about this. I don't know the side effects it will cause but I had a close friend that was on the same medication.

It is generally regarded as OK to have a drink or two occasionally. It in not recommended to drink heavily. As always, drink responsibly and ask your doctor if you have questions.
