Pricing is region and plumber dependent. Shower with glass door, fiberglass bottom, tiles around $15k-$20k with plumber; by yourself, several thousand less but you have to pass inspection.

The cost will vary depending on the materials you choose. If you buy a pre-made shower stall, you can probably pick up a kit for about $350. If you use tile your cost will go up considerably. Fixtures (faucets) are also a costly item, and range from $39 to over $200. Plumbing parts and adhesives will also be needed.
