Of course, it depends what rank you are. I would think the lowest ranking position would pay approximately #25,000 a year plus great benefits and usually includes housing or a housing allowance if you prefer to not to live on base. High ranking officiers would make at least $35,000 or more depending on long they have served.

This depends on their rank. There are the enlisted soldiers who do not make too much. There are also officers who actually make the "big bucks".
