It can vary depending on the age of your baby. The max amount a breastfed baby needs is about 5 ounces.

It depends on the person. It is normally around 1-4oz per side. Once I pumped regularly for a while it increased and I was getting more than 4oz each side.

If you are pumping to reduce the breast size to allow easy latch on you may need to express up to 40-50ml.

They suggest that you only pump an ounce or two at a time in order for your milk to regenerate. Don't pump too much at once.
