It depends very much on the bale dimensions and the dryness of the hay. But a regular bale of hay should have 22 Kilos that should be about 4.8 pounds.

A standard size bale (roughly 3-4 feet long by 2 feet by 1.5 feet) weighs 60-130 pounds, depending on how the baler was set. The lighter bales are usually bound with a double strand, triple for the heavier ones. A bale of marijuana is usually about 50 pounds.

It depends if the bale is large or small square, and hard or soft cored. Small square are between 75-100 pounds. Large square are 800 lbs, but can be more. Soft cored bales are about 1200 lbs, and hard cored bales are about 1800 lbs. The weight differences are the result of bailer adjustments.
