Four army bases exist for women to train as new recruits. Ft. Knox in Kentucky, Ft. Sill, Oklahoma, Ft. Benning in Georgia and Ft. Jackson in South Carolina.

There are four Army basis that train new recruits: Ft. Knox, Kentucky (all armor soldiers), Ft. Sill, Oklahoma; Ft. Benning, Georgia (basic combat training) and Ft. Jackson, South Carolina which is the largest basic combat training base. Half of all recuits and 70% of a female recuits train there. There are no separate bases for women and none in Missouri.
