The longest home run ever hit in the US was hit by the New York Yankee Mickie Mantle. This feat was done against the Detroit Tigers on September 10, 1960 in Briggs Stadium. Mantle hit the home run 634 ft. This home run traveled this distance without adding in distance after bouncing.

There is a lot of debate over this, but the longest measured home run ball hit in the Major Leagues was by Mickey Mantle, at 660 feet.
