How long is an extra-long twin bed?

I need sheets, and I don't know which ones to get.

Any sheets that will fit an extra-long bed will be marked extra-long or "dorm length" on the packaging. Standard twin size sheets will be too short, but places like Bed, Bath & Beyond and Target specialize in extra long sheets for dorm bedding. These are also often sold in sets with other dorm needs such as a hamper or comforter.
