Notify the Housing Office immediately. Have the mattresses in the room replaced. Wash clothing, linens, outerwear, rugs, EVERYTHING in hot, soapy water and dry on high heat. Vacuum every surface in the room, and wash down walls and floors. Put sticky traps under the beds to catch any rogue bugs.

To get rid of bed bugs you can put the bed in a freezer. This will freeze and kill all of the bed bugs.

The best way to get rid of bed bugs is to wash everything in hot water, and then seal everything in air-tight bags.
