How long does an Xbox last?

An Xbox will generally last a few years. The first one I purchased ran great for 4 years then got the red ring. I assume it was in that first run of machines that all had bad issues. I purchased the Elite this time so time will tell.

That depends on where it is stored. If you put in in a small enclosed space with a lot of dust then it could be measured in months.
