The first thing you need to figure out is who you are and what you stand for. Once you figure yourself out you can then decide what offends you and what doesn't bother you. Then, you need to stand up for yourself. If someone is rude to you - tell them that that's not okay.

You should study assertiveness training. It's one thing to learn it and another to apply it, though. It takes practice and courage. Little steps are key to eventually implementing it as a long-term strategy. You can find classes in assertiveness training just about anywhere.

Assertiveness can be a useful tool when dealing with people. Sometimes assertive has to get agressive depending on the other person. Some people don't understand my boundaries and take advantage.

You just have to start to stand up for yourself. If someone gives you crap just throw it right back at them. Defend yourself a bit better and things will go a lot nicer for you.
