I do not think this is any kind of special talent. If you go to the local library or book store, you can find many books about the history of tea leaves and also instructional books on how to read them. If you take time to read the books, then you can do it too.

Patience. A breakfast cup with wide mouth and sides, inside is white and no patterns within it, allowing pictures to form clearly. Chinese or any light tea for clear images.
