Trace the hose off the radiator. It leads to a thermostat housing, which also has the sensor located on it. Remove it, and replace it.

You will need to remove the locking wire connector first. With water temperature sensors you may also have partially or fully drain the coolant and remove with the appropriate wrench.

This depends on the year but purchase a haynes manual from an auto parts store, along with the sensor. Locate the sensor, remove lead, replace sensor, and attach lead.

you'll need to cut the wire and install a deep socket to break the old one loose. Then,you'll need to install the new turning it with an open end wrench
