The only "heat sinks" that I know of that wold be located on your car would be located on electrical components. It will probably be located on the ignition module.
The heat sync blower resistor assembly is located on the blower motor housing.Look directly below the blower motor and you will see it.Most will be held in place with regular phillips head screws.
