How do you install a distributor in a Nissan Pathfinder?

align the camshafts on a new model. make sure the motor is on top dead center on the compression stroke, align the rotor, install the cap and wires, turn the motor by hand to ensure it is correct. Then start the car.

slide the distributor down into the whole in the top of the engine.only two positions which it will go down in.one is exhaust and the other is intake.align timing marks on main drive pully to zero or 1.then replace cap and wires try to start.if nothing turn distributor 180 degrees
