How do you replace the coaxial connection on a TV?

Replacing the coaxial on a TV is not easy and usually means the TV is broken. It is part of the main board that runs the whole unit and cannot be replaced just by itself. The only suggestion I have is to call the manufacturer and maybe they have a replacement board.

First, take the plate off the wall, and see if there is a screw-in for the cable itself, you may be able to just get a new cable. If you need to repin the connection, you'll find a stripper and the parts needed at the local audio/video store.

A lot of the connections on the tv are actually soldered onto the main video board of the tv. You will probably want to get the tv professionally repaired.

If you still have the coaxial connection piece that broke off the TV, you can try to solder the small spiral piece onto the back of the tv where it broke off.

Take your television to a reputable repair center, and they will be able to replace the coaxial connection on your set. Alternatively, buy a new television set, it'd be a lot cheaper.

Do not attempt to replace a coaxial connection on a TV as this is a delicate operation, only qualified service technicians should replace this part. Please contact the manufacture for instructions on how to have this part replaced

If this is a small TV you are better off buying a new one. Unless your TV has RCA jacks it is better to use them because better picture.
