First, make sure the electric current is turned off before you mess with the Lippert. Once you've killed the power and let it cool down, it's easy to handle. You're better off sliding the plate out with bare hands, because gloves get in the way.

To remove the side outs you dis connect the power source and on the left side of the slide is a release clip which you move forward.

Just go to their website and call customer service and then ask for the replacement parts. If you have a warranty then it should be covered for you by no cost.
