You would first disconnect the power. Next you would loosen the belt from the pulley system. Then you would remove the old belt. Put the new belt onto the pulley the exact same way you have removed the old one. Tighten the pulley back up. Turn on the power. And then you would test it.

Well depending on the car the process can vary. First thing to do is remove tension on the belt either by loosening a bracket or moving the tensioner. Then the belt should slide off the pulleys and you can install your new one. The re-tighten to factory specifications.
