How do you remove wax from a floor?

Most stores that handle cleaning supplies will sell wax stripper. Mop on the stripper. Let it sit for awhile to soften the wax. Then using a scrub pad by hand or a scrubbing machine, scrub the floor to remove the wax. Depending on the floor, you may need to reapply some wax to protect the finish.

I had this problem a year ago and the answer is not pretty and is pretty stinky. I took a bucket of one part ammonia three parts water and a sponge and went over the whole floor on my hands and knees. Make sure the room is ventilated.
