The grill is retained by 9 retaining clips. Using a plastic prying devise, carefully pry between the grill and the headlamp mounting module at each of 5 clips. After the upper clips are released, you need to carefully pull forward on the grill to access the 4 lower clips. Using the same prying devise, release the 4 lower retainers.

If the grill it attached to the hood there should be some screws or release catch type things on the back to let you get it off. Otherwise if it's attached to the bumper there will again be screws or small release catches but it might be a bit trickier having to reach down.

You'll have to open the hood and remove two small screws holding the grill in place. You'll need a flathead screwdriver. The screws are really small.

I own a Grand Cherokee Limited and the grill is easily removed by screws on the top in the engine compartment and also a couple of screws on the front side of the vehicle.

1. Remove the three exterior screws with a 7mm socket. The screws are located inside the lower front part of the grille. 2. From inside the hood, remove the four 7mm screws located along the top of the grille. 3. Next pull the grill from the vechile, might take a little tugging.

The grille is incorporated into the fascia Disengage retainers attaching grille insert to grille/fascia. Separate grille insert from grille/fascia
