How do you remove a rotor on a Chevy 4X4?

I am trying to change the rotors and breaks on my Chevy and can not get the rotor's off.

Rotors are on vehicles tight and you often just have to pound away at them with a rubber mallet to have them release.

Since it is a 4X4 then you might have to pull the axles or remove the hub to get the rotor off.

I am assuming you have the wheel tore down to the rotor and at this point you cannot seem to figure out why it wont come off. If you want to reuse the rotor try a rubber mallet and some force. If you plan on replacing the rotor you can hit it with a hammer.

Use atleast a 3 ton hydraulic Jack and raise the truck above the ground and block the wheels with stones or wood to stop the car from sliding, there will be 4 huge bolts that need to be removed , once removed you can remove the rotor by hand.
