Make sure the area you are working in is flame free and no heat source free. The fuel tank should be reasonable empty. Once all of that is done you will be ready to start removing the lines starting at the rear of the car first.

Be sure fuel tank is reasonable empty and area is free of flammable liquids and any open flames or heat sources. Begin the disconnect from the rear, closest to fuel tank and continue up body of car, dislodging line until you reach the front with final connections.

ok the cavaliers are mostly male and female type threaded fitting. first thing you wanta do to release the presure from the system . then find the line you want to remove and simple undo the fittings then release any clips holding it in place. pull it out and replace if needed.

To remove fuel lines just park the car remove the fuel filler cap for the tank pressure to relieve, open the hood, then start the engine and let it idle. System pressure should be relieve. Remove the cover from the fuse box-power distribution block. Remove also the fuel pump relay.

Take the battery cables off first so there is no energy in the system. Next you need to drop the fuel tank so you can access the top of the tank. Now that you got the top of the tank accessible carefully remove the fuellines there first Then work your way to the front of ther car.
