How do you remove a stuck front drive shaft on a 4wd Chevy?

My 4wd Chevy has a stuck front drive shaft.

Hit the 4 WD button to the off position. Then disconnect the battery. Next begin to take off the drive shaft. Use a solvent to loosen the bolts.

You need to remove the front wheel, balljoint, rotor, and brake caliper. Remove the drive shaft nut and pop the drive shaft out of the transmission.

I would first check the relay that controls the unit. This would likely be the cause of the problem you're having.
