How do you play rm files?

Those are so called real meadia files and can be played back with realplayer. The format has been around for quite some time and provided streaming capabilities rather early on. They come from any publisher who decided for real media as a distribution format. The software is deemed annoying by many people though.

These are "real media" files. This once common standard is not as popular as it used to be (its been replaced by windows media). You'll want to download "real player".
