How do you paper train a dog?

The best way is to first start off in one room. Lay your paper out about 1/8 of the room. you need to catch him in the act and gently put him on the paper each time. The main thing is doing it each time he goes to potty.

About 15 mins after they eat or drink, put them on the paper. When they urinate or deficate on the paper, praise them , don't rub their nose in it if they make a mistake. that does nothing but make them resent you, and may hinder potty training.

Whenever they have not used the bathroom in awhile carry them over to the paper. If they use it on the carpet tell them no and bring them to paper.

Pick an area in your house to bring dog to every 30 minutes. Take dog out before bedtime and before you leave the house to lessen accidents. Be consistent.
