How do you measure dirt?

Interesting. I would suggest using a large kitchen measure cup that goes up to 5 cups or more. Start with one pile, measure out 5 cups and pile that dirt in another spot. Simply kep going to get your total. Otherwise you will have to get into cubic feet if you have a massive amount to measure.

You measure dirt by pounds. Using a scale similar to the ones from a supermarket, you are able to measure dirt by pounds. If you can to convert to distance you may convert lbs to kg. You can also convert measurements in oz/cups using a measuring cup use for making.

You can use a measuring cup to measure the cups of the dirt. dirt is usually measured in volume just to let you know.

It depends on what you are measuring,a ruler for height and a scale for how much it weighs would work.
