Dissolve two tsp. Borax in 1/2 c. water. In another bowl mix together 1/4 c. white glue, 1/4 c. water, and food coloring. Purchase polstyrene beads at a craft store. Pour beads and glue solution into plastic bag. Add Borax with water. Knead bag until completely mixed. Store in sealed bag in refrigerator.

To start off with, you need to find polystyrene beads. But, by going to the local arts and craft store, you should be able to find these beads with no problem. Then basically get some polyester and stuff the beads inside and create whatever you or your kids may like.

Dissolve 2 teaspoons of borax in 4 oz water. In another bowl mix 2 oz white glue and 2 oz water with some food coloring. Pour the glue and polystyrene beads into a zip lock bag. Add the borax solution and knead, just like bread. Keep it in the refrigerator.

Well I don't think you can make it at home but you can buy it. It has a lot of chemicals in it so it's really hard to make at home. Sorry.
