If you make an hourly wage how do you determine your annual revenue?
I know there is a formula to determine it but am not sure of what number you use to calculate the amount you make an hour by to determine how much you make a year.
If you work 40 hours per week, 52 weeks a year, you'll work 2080 hours. Factor in time off and extra hours, a good estimate is 2000 hours per year. If you make $20 per hour, that's about $40,000 per year.
To determine how much you make a year by your hourly wage, you first multiply your hourly wage by how many hours you work a week. Then you multiply that number by 52 weeks, this is how much you make in a year.
Determine how many hours you work per year. Break this into weeks if needed. Multiply the total hours worked by your hourly wage. The total is your annual revenue.
The calculation is hourly wage x 40 hours a week x 50 weeks a year, so the hourly wage times 2,000 gives the estimated annual income / revenue at that hourly rate.
