How do you make taramasalata?

Add in food processer 8-ounce jar tarama and 1 small onion. Soak 4 to 5 slices of white bread, crusts removed, for for 3 minutes in ½ cup of water, squeeze out the excess water and blend with tarama. Add 1½ cups olive oil and ¼ cup lemon juice alternately.

Taramasalata is made with smoked or cured roe, traditionally from a cod or carp. First mix the roe with breadcrumbs then lemon juice, vinegar and olive oil.

Begin with a good salted cod roe. Add bread crumbs, lemon juice, vinegar, and olive oil. It can be served with some sort of bread or rolls.
