Maintaining wooden swing sets is fairly easy. Make sure that the wood is sprayed with water proof spray about every 6 months. Make sure to keep an eye on the rope to keep from having it become brittle. Try and keep water off the wood as much as possible and keep it clean.

I put wood sealant on it so that the bugs and rain won't warp the wood. I also cover it up with a tarp during the winter.
