How do you know if you are ready for a divorce?

If you have to ask then you are not ready. Remember that marriage takes work and commitment, when you made your vows you made them to more than your husband. See a counselor and try to remember why you married in the first place. When you have tried everything ask yourself again.

You are over your spouse if you see him/her with someone of the opposite sex and you feel nothing.

Divorce is a tricky subject. If you feel that there is no love left in your marrage and that no matter what you do it can never recover than it is time for you to consider divorce. Although it may be good for you in the long run keep in mind that divorce can drain both mentally physically and financially.

i do not believe in or except divorce My husband and I have been together 21 years and believe me not all of them have been easy, I do agree that if your relationship has gotten to the point that one or the other of you is turning to another person divorce could be the best answer.
