How do you go about formatting a CD in Windows?

Most Windows systems now do that for you. All you have to do is pop the disc in the drive, and fill it full of what ever pictures and info you wish. Then just sit back and relax while the computer does the rest.

brother if you have a cd-r then you can't format it once its write and if you have a cd-rw then you can format it by following steps start menu > run > format (write the drive letter of cd writer drive): and press enter or open my computer and right click on drive and select format and start it
