You can but a cd cleaning kit at just about any electronic or department store. They cost about 10 to 15 bucks, and they are really easy to use. Just apply the cleaner to the cleaning disc and play it like a normal cd and you are done.

Well you can clean it by using some damp cloth with a bit of alcohol and water on it. Then clean slowly but make sure the cd player does not get wet.

It might be fried. The clearance on a CD head's a thousand time smaller than a piece of hair. There are CD cleaner kits available, generally they're preventive in nature.

There are laser lens cleaners out there that might be able to fix your problems. Look around your local store for them. The will be around the recording media typically. IT will usually be a cd with a set of small brushes attached to it.

You might try cleaning it with a lens cleaning kit. It has a cd with small brushes to sweep debris off the lens.
