You keep the paint from unwanted areas by patterns made of hard paper or cardboard. Use you imagination and draw and cut them out, or just print them on paper from the web.

Art can be created with spray paint in many ways. You can use a stencil to control the flow of the spray and make multi-layered designs that way - which is very popular in Europe. If you prefer, you can control the spray with special tubes as well.
