How do you change the supercharger on a Toyota Previa?

The supercharger is a part that tends to go out on these models. You should take it to the dealership with your own part, it will be cheaper if you have your own part. Troubleshooting it on your own would involve a lot more than most are willing to do.

Buy a repair manual for the Toyota Previa. Look up the pages that tell how to change the supercharger. Read those pages. Take the old supercharger out. Buy a new one and put the new one in. Drive car away.

This is a fairly difficult repair/replacement, if you consider yourself a novice i would recommend either consulting your car manual, or seeking the help of a licensed mechanic to-be safe.

I assume you are speaking about a turbocharger, here, so anyway, it is a pretty involved job because it requires disconnecting or cutting the exhaust pipe off. once out of the way, you may also need to remove parts of the intake, or the engine covers to gain access. You should also drain the oil and engine coolant before.

The supercharger is attached to the manifold and is secured with bolts and a gasket. Remove bolts, supercharger, and gasket. Replace with all new or rebuilt parts and attach exhaust.

You have to Drain the old oil out, replace the oil filter, add new oil, check level and top up as necessary. Is very important that you check level, because if is more the level that you need, this can be problem for you

If you have a supercharger on that kind of vehicle, then I would say to do whatever you did before, because only a loon would have a supercharger on that.

You are the loon. Some Previa's came from the factory supercharged. Stop trying to insult people before you know the facts and even if someone put an s/c on there it's their car.  add a comment

Buy a repair manual kit. Drain old oil/get new oil. Cut exhaust pipe off and parts of intake. Check levels. If its too much then it will be a problem.

Purchase a repair manual kit. For this kind of work you'll have to cut the exhaust pipe off, take off parts of the intake, engine covers to get to it, drain oil thats old, get new oil filter and the new oil. Its urgent that you check level cause if it is more level you need. Can be a problem.
