I would get online and try to find a website dedicated to your car specifically. Most of these types of websites have a forum where you can ask specific questions. If you can't find one for your specific model then just try any Toyota fan-based website and most likely someone will be able to help you.

check with dealerships. sometimes you can find a mechanic that has worked on a toyota. just because they work at a gm dealership does not mean they don't know about a toyota.

The best place to find a Toyota expert is to go to a Toyota dealer. They know more about Toyota products than anyone. They even know about the recalls that are going on and can get specific.
