The IAT is integrated into the VAM body on most bosch VAM's (vane air meter). So to actully change it you need to replace the whole VAMs because it is built-in. There is other VAM's that are better on performance and MPG to look into.

The intake air temperature sensor (IAT) is part of a bigger sensor known as the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor. The location of the sensor does not change from Toyota to Toyota, it should be located after the air intake filter and before the intake manifold.

The air temperature sensor is located somewhere along the intake tube. It should be in the air filter housing (AFM). You need to change it as the IAC valve controls the idle of the vehicle.

Not knowing the year or the model it is hard to say. Sometimes it is mad into the MAF sensor. You might want to pick up a repair manual. It should show the location for your specific truck.
