How do you change the fuel filter in a Mercedes?

In your Mercedes you should be able to reach it when you jack the car up, then you just unscrew it and screw the new one back in. just make sure you take the oil out of the pan before you do this, or it will all pour out.

Purchasing the part will cause no harm. If you look along your fuel line most times you will find the filter underneath the car. Usually there is a clamp on the fuel line on either end, If it looks too hard then call a mechanic, you already have the part.
